But Blake Lively proved she can be just as gorgeous somewhat covered up.

The 25-year-old flaunted her toned calves in a knee-length dress that clung to her curves at the launch of Target in Canada on Wednesday night.

The Gossip Girl star managed to look both sexy and demure in the pretty cream frock, which sported a colourful inkblot pattern on the front as she posed during the store opening at the new Shoppers World Danforth Store in Toronto.

 

The frock featured ruched short sleeves that added a regal quality to the ensemble and added a pop of colour with green and blue heels

She wore her blonde hair wavy and loose over her shoulders, and kept her makeup simple with peachy blusher and a rosy pink lipgloss.

The actress appeared thrilled to be at the opening of the store as she gave a big grin while petting the Target mascot Bullseye, a white Bull Terrier.

Blake and husband Ryan Reynolds recently gave their time to a very good cause in Canada after they spent time at the Sciences North pediatric unit in Ontario.

The actress and her 36-year-old hubby posed for pictures with sick children at the hospital and are said to have had a way with the youngsters.

Also at the Target event was Sarah Jessica Parker, who harkened back to her Carrie Bradshaw days with a giant pink flower and a smaller red flower worn on her lapel.

The 48-year-old was playfully business-like in cropped white jeans, a sheer polka dot blouse and a black fitted blazer clasped in the front.

The actress wore her highlighted blonde hair straight over her shoulders, opting for a smokey eye and pink lips.
