‘I’m ready to endure horribly long awkward pauses’: Made In Chelsea's male cast mock themselves in hilarious spoof trailer for series five

While each series of Made In Chelsea brings a variety of new story lines, there are always a few constants and clichés that keep cropping up.
And in a trailer for series five the male cast of the show have taken all of those and used them in an amusing send up of the programme.
The spoof, that sees them mocking their onscreen selves, is filmed in the style of an overly dramatic motivational advert in which they declare they are ‘ready’ for the fifth series.

The advert begins with Jamie Laing saying: ‘It’s quite a thing getting ready for a new series.’

Spencer Matthews jumps in saying ‘you’ve got to be physically ready’, while Ollie Locke says ‘emotional ready’ and Francis Boulle adds ‘mentally ready' to the requirements.
While it commences in an overly dramatic style spoofing motivational adverts, it soon turns into a hilarious self-parody of the show.

Addressing the shows now famous clichés, Jamie begins: ‘I’m ready to endure horribly long awkward pauses’
Spencer adds: ‘I’m ready to talk about relationships…a lot.’
Getting in on the joke, Ollie says: ‘I’m ready to have lots of arguments in public’, while Francis rather amusingly adds: ‘I’m ready to go dog walking with Millie.’

Andy, who caused a lot of trouble with the female cast last series says: 'I’m ready to sit around in bars and cafes for far more than is necessary.’
Next while pretending to do weights with his shades, Jamie says: ‘I’m ready to chew the corner of my sunglasses because I’m easily distracted.’
And then when it seems they have run out of things to mock, it cuts to Spencer saying: ‘ I’m ready to go to the river and think about things deeply…particularly relationship matters.’

The series which is due to return to E4 soon, will feature all of the usual cast members including  Richard Dinan, Binky Felstead, Rosie Fortescue, Victoria Baker Harber, Cheska Hull, Stevie Johnson, Millie Macintosh, Ollie Proudlock, Louise Thompson and Mark-Francis Vandelli.
The Chelsea scene looks set to be rocked however with the arrival of new characters Francesca and Olivia Newman-Young, designer Josh Coombs and fashionista Phoebe-Lettice Thompson.
The sisters are pals of Millie Mackintosh and Andy Jordan and spend their days working in the music industry.

Phoebe-Lettice may put  a few noses out of joint among the female cast members who think they are in the know when it comes to fashion, as she is a fashion assistant for Tatler.
She is also in an on/off relationship fellow new comer Josh, who runs his own design business.
The two newcomers from last series – Ashley James and Lucy Watson – who had a bit of trouble fitting in have also been confirmed as full-time cast members in the upcoming series.
